Marriage Storms

I was on a large boat sailing on the Sea of Galilee last October when the captain turned the bow into the afternoon wind.  It seemed like a gale as the stars and stripes crisply shuttered high on the mast.  I thought about Mark 4:35-41 when Jesus calmed the storm.

God’s Viewpoint

Jesus allowed the squall in Mark to blow until the final moment when He ordered the wind to stop.  So you may go through your squalls for many weeks and months.  Every moment The Christ is along side you holding you in firm grasp to keep you afloat.  You don’t feel His touch nor do we hear His encouragement, but He is there (Deut. 31:6).  He rescues you as your boat is about to sink.
