Is there really a soul mate for me?

A soul mate is supposedly someone who is ideally suited to another as a friend or romantic partner.

NASA roboticist Randall Moore crunched the numbers and found, mathematically, the odds are one in 500 million that you will meet what is referred to as a soul mate.

Are soul mates couples who stay happily married for 75 years?  Or are they two people who have effective communication skills along with a kind and gentle heart and good mental health.  They are dedicated to being better partners as time goes on.

So, mathematically, there is never going to be a perfect match ‘out there.’  More than likely there is enough commonality so two people can share their lives together without a bunch of junk going on.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:32)
